The Age of Chariots

This is a relatively minor period for me, but I do have the DBA 1.1 rules, and Neil Thomas’ slightly more in-depth Ancient and Medieval Wargaming and chariots are cool.

I find ancient warfare has an appeal all of it's own...

I find ancient warfare has an appeal all of it’s own.

Of course, the period (which I’ll encapsulate as the Sumerians circa 2000 BC to the Persian invasions of Greece in the late 5th century) is a lot more than just chariots: you have Assyrian siege towers, which are also very cool, Hebrew slingers, Homeric heroes and so many obscure tribes ending in “ite”…
